This is the other original performance created by my campers. It is the story of an echidna, koala, and kangaroo fighting in Australia. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as an echidna, and I had to look it up after camp. Sometimes my campers are so smart they even surprise me.
For those of you that don’t know, the echidna is a monotreme like the platypus. They are the only two mammals that lay eggs. It lives, as my campers said, in Australia and New Guinea and eats ants and termites. It also resembles an anteater, although they are not closely related at all.
Other interesting facts: A baby echidna is known as a puggle. A male echidna has a four-headed penis, although it only uses two heads at a time and swaps the ones in use each time it mates. Now that’s just weird.
